Meet the Directress

Directress

Alexandra Seigle

Alexandra Seigle is an AMI-trained Montessori guide with over seven years of experience leading Children’s House environments and mentoring educators in internationally diverse settings, including London and Dubai. She brings calm, thoughtful leadership grounded in authentic Montessori practice and a deep respect for the child. Born in Abu Dhabi and raised across Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, Alexandra developed a strong appreciation for cultural diversity, community, and connection. This global upbringing continues to shape her approach to education and school leadership.

Alexandra completed her Montessori training at the Maria Montessori Institute in London, where she also worked for four years across several schools. During this time, she received continuous professional development and mentoring, including the AMI Observation Course, and supported new teachers and trainees in building confidence and competence in Montessori environments. In Dubai, Alexandra led the establishment of a new Children’s House classroom, preparing the environment, developing daily rhythms, and mentoring assistants into a cohesive and capable team. She places great importance on strong partnerships with families and regularly supports parent engagement through open classrooms, observation opportunities, and workshops.

As Directress, Alexandra is committed to fostering a school culture rooted in consistency, transparency, and collaboration — creating an environment where children, educators, and families can flourish together.

Guided by Maria Montessori’s belief that “the child is both a hope and a promise for mankind,” she strives to nurture environments in which both children and the adults who guide them can flourish.
